Colorado Catholic Deaf Community

St. Bernadette Parish is honored to be the home of the Colorado Catholic Deaf Community and offers many services that enable the full participation of deaf persons in the Catholic Church. The Colorado Catholic Deaf community is a part of the International Catholic Deaf Association. We are chapter 37 of about 120 chapters around the world under the National Catholic Office for the Deaf. To become involved with the Colorado Catholic Deaf Community, please feel free to contact us or submit a contact form.

The National Catholic Office for the Deaf is for pastoral workers, deaf persons, family members, interpreters and persons interested in the full participation of the deaf in the church. Their mission is to “Spread God’s message through the support of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Pastoral Ministry so that we may all be one in Christ!”

If you are in need an interpreter for church services, wedding, funeral, baptism or other reason, please contact our interpreter coordinator, Tracey Lee-Eble for assistance.
