Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.” Matthew 25:34-36

Visitation

A ministry based solely on the desire to be a companion to one who needs a friend. This ministry provides a caring, human connection between isolated members of our community.  These ministers may choose to become Eucharistic ministers to the home bound as well, but it is not required.  This ministry calls for a compassionate, listening heart.

This ministry creates prayer shawls for the seriously ill and those experiencing a life crisis. The ministers pray for the recipient while they knit or crochet.  Each shawl is blessed and delivered to the person in need.

Marisol Family Services

The Marisol Family serves Colorado families by providing material assistance, support services and family education. We assist expectant moms and families with young children in multiple locations across Northern Colorado, providing families with diapers, wipes, formula, baby supplies, young children’s clothing and family education programs. You might know us by our previous name – Gabriel House Project – and we’re proud of the partnerships we have at area parishes where our volunteers make every encounter special.

St. Bernadette is a Marisol Family location with services available on Thursdays from 1p-4p out of Doherty Hall. Volunteers to help with this distribution along with donations
