RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
The RCIA is a process for adults interested in learning about and/or becoming members of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a time for inquiry and introduction to the message of the Gospel. It is an opportunity to learn about the Catholic Faith. The program is open to the non-baptized, and non-Catholics who are already baptized, and seek admission into the Catholic Church.
RCIA is a community faith journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. Guided by the Gospel and faith community at large, newcomers can find their place in the family of believers. Participants will be brought into the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday.
Adult Confirmation
Adult Confirmation classes are for those practicing Catholics 18 years of age or older. Adults must have already received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion. Preparation classes are required.
